Youth Ministry

Reaching, Connecting, Growing, Challenging, Discovering, and Honoring!

Reaching out to non-believing students with the Gospel...  to connect them with other Christians...  to help them grow in their faith...  to challenge growing Christians to discover their ministry area and to honor God with our lives.

We hope that as you get involved in the life of the church that you will discover a place to be a part of God's people.  If you are a youth (student in grades 5 through college), a parent of a youth, or just someone interested in supporting the needs of our youth and their families, please read on...

Sunday Worship -  9:30 AM in the Family Life Center 'Praise & Worship'

Youth are strongly encouraged to be involved in corporate worship and to attend worship services with their families. If their families do not attend church, then thay are encouraged to join with a family in at least one of our Sunday worship experiences on a regular basis.

Sunday School - Bible Study - 11 AM in 'the Garage'!

Sunday School is the primary Bible teaching ministry of the church, although Sunday school literature is used to help teach God's Word, the Scripture (Bible) is our main focus.  Students are encouraged to always bring their bibles with them to church!  If they do not have one, we will gladly purchase them one that they can have as their very own.  If you (or your student) are looking for a bible, we strongly recommend  having a student study Bible in a modern translation (preferably a NKJV, NIV. or NASB).

Wednesday Night Youth - 5:30 PM Dinner

Students meet on Wednesday evenings after supper (Youth eat FREE) at 6:15 for fellowship and recreation. At 6:45 we usually come together in the Garage (youth building) for our mid-week lesson & Bible study.  Wednesday night youth is a time where we can hang out, learn about God, and be discipled.

Fellowships

In addition to the fellowship that we have with one another on Sunday's and Wednesday's, there are other activities that happen frequently at the Garage and at other locations...  Youth Hangouts and FGM Nites (Food, games & Movie) are scheduled once a month during the school year and usually take place periodically on Friday nights from 6:30-10:30pm in the Garage.

There are special activities that happen during the year that students and families are always welcome to be a part of... Disney World's Nite of Joy in September; Planet Wisdom's Student Conference in January (Lakeland, FL); summer mission trips such as World Changers, are mentioned to name only a few of the opportunities that awaits our students.
